New Feature

Your health,
her coaching.

Lexi now reads your Apple Health data to personalize every conversation — without you having to log a thing.

How it works ↓ Set it up

The data that matters for your coaching

Lexi reads four key data types from Apple Health — all chosen because they directly inform how Alexis coaches you.

Apple Health Connected
👟 Steps 8,432
🔥 Active cal 412 kcal
⚖️ Weight 163.4 lbs
😴 Sleep Coming soon
👟

Steps

Today's step count gives Lexi activity context. She'll know if you've been moving or sedentary — and coach accordingly.

🔥

Active Calories

Calories burned factor into your nutrition coaching. Lexi can adjust macro guidance based on your actual output.

⚖️

Body Weight

Your most recent weight reading means Lexi always has current data even if you forget to log a weigh-in.

😴

Sleep

Hours of sleep for recovery and readiness insights. Lexi can factor rest into workout and nutrition coaching.

Coming soon

Simple. Private. Automatic.

Connect once and Lexi handles the rest — syncing your data quietly every time you open the app.

1

Connect in Settings

Go to Account → Health & Data → tap Connect Apple Health. Lexi walks you through exactly what she'll read before asking for permission.

2

Grant permissions

iOS shows you each data type individually. You choose what to share. Lexi only requests what she needs for coaching.

3

Lexi syncs automatically

Every time you open the app, Lexi quietly pulls your latest data. No tapping, no logging — she just knows.

4

Coaching gets smarter

"You've hit 8,000 steps today — your body is ready for a more aggressive macro target." That's the coaching you've been missing.

When data conflicts,
you decide what wins

If you've logged something manually in Lexi and Apple Health has different data, you choose the behavior.

Health wins

Apple Health data is always used. Your manual entries become supplemental notes rather than the source of truth.

Best for: Apple Watch wearers who trust their device tracking.

Ask me

When Lexi detects a conflict between your manual entry and Health data, she'll flag it and let you choose which to keep.

Best for: people who want visibility into every data point.

Read-only. Always.

Lexi never writes to Apple Health. She never shares your health data with third parties. She reads the minimum needed to coach you well — nothing more.

What Lexi does

  • Reads steps, calories, weight, and sleep
  • Uses it to personalize your coaching
  • Stores your conflict preference
  • Lets you disconnect anytime

What Lexi never does

  • Write anything back to Apple Health
  • Share your data with advertisers
  • Access data you didn't explicitly grant
  • Store raw Health data beyond coaching context

🔒

To revoke access anytime

Go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Lexi and toggle off any permissions.

Or disconnect directly inside Lexi: Account → Health & Data → Disconnect.

Common questions

It says "Not connected" after I granted permissions +
This usually means the sync returned no data, which happens when permissions were denied at the iOS level. Go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Lexi and confirm Steps, Active Energy, and Body Mass are all toggled on. Then re-open Lexi and tap Connect again.
Lexi isn't referencing my Health data in chat +
Health data is injected into Lexi's context on your next chat message after a sync. Try pulling to refresh the app and sending a new message. If you've been connected for a while, the sync may need to re-run — disconnect and reconnect to force a fresh sync.
My weight in Lexi doesn't match Apple Health +
If you have "My entries win" set and you've already logged a manual weigh-in today in Lexi, your manual entry takes priority. Switch your conflict preference to "Health wins" if you'd like Apple Health to always be used as the source of truth.
I denied permissions on first ask — can I re-enable? +
Yes. iOS doesn't allow apps to ask again after a denial, but you can grant it manually: iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Lexi → toggle on the data types you want to share. Then return to Lexi and tap Connect Apple Health.
Will Lexi write anything to my Apple Health? +
No. Lexi is read-only. She will never write data back to Apple Health, modify your health records, or create any entries in the Health app. This is by design and cannot be changed.
